I was born in Quirindi, N.S.W. I attended school there until I was 15 years old. Growing up in Gunnedah, Curlewis and Tamworth, NSW Australia.
I never had much of an education until years later when I met my dearest friend Mabel Dungay, who told me about this TAFE course. So here I am up with the best in my class in art and weaving.
I graduated in 2006 Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts at West Wollongong TAFE. My strength is in painting, I love to do landscapes, reflecting from my memories of places and land I have traveled throughout my life.
Being part of the BN Studio i am able to practice my Aboriginal culture and be with my people. If I wasn’t part of this wonderful place I would have gone down hill years ago – it is my life blood – they are my family. I would never have discovered my own country I have now been able to travel & meet new mobs from all around Australia. I love to meet new people - have a yarn- offer them a cuppa & show them around tell them what we are up to.
